@Peoria 9, Kane County 8 (12 innings): Conclusion of Wrigley Field game. "It's been a long road trip, a long six days with six losses (heading into Tuesday's game)," catcher Luis Flores said. "There's been a lot of distractions. It's good to be back home with our fans."

West Michigan 7, @Quad Cities 2; @Quad Cities 5, West Michigan 2: Split!

Dayton 14, @Burlington 4: "We got whipped," said Burlington manager Brian Rupp. "They came out and they found a few holes offensively and then got some pitches up and drove them out of the ball park. Before you knew it, we were fighting an uphill battle."

Fort Wayne 4, @Cedar Rapids 1: "We're fine, we're fine," Kernels Manager Keith Johnson said. "We played a solid game. Sometimes you lose."

South Bend 11, @Clinton 1: On the night, the LumberKings could only muster out two hits while committing four errors. Moreland and Beltre were the only LumberKings with hits.

@Beloit 4, Great Lakes 3 (10 innings): Greg Yersich played hero Wednesday night for the Snappers, cracking a game-tying homer in the bottom of the eighth inning and a game-winning RBI-single in the tenth.
