Computer issues have prevented me from fully developing this post today.
But, I think that a few simple thank yous will work for now.
Thank you for reading the blog.
Thank you for your e-mails.
Thank you for listening to the games.
Thank you for coming out to the games.
Thank you for supporting Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Baseball.
Thank you.
A place to follow the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, the Midwest League, Minor League baseball, Major League Baseball, and everything in between in that order.

This is from the pedestrian bridge across Highway 41 looking at the east parking lot.
Here is a little better shot of the east lot.
I really, really like this picture.
This one, too.

Thank you
To the 5,433 that were at tonight's game, thank you.
They're right. I don't want to come back down from this cloud.

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are in uncharted territory. The Midwest League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers have broken the 100,000 mark in attendance in the first half for the first time in the fifteen year history of the franchise. Here's to great weather and big crowds in the second half. Click through on the link to see what the all time attendance record is.
The benchmark was surpassed on Friday night when 3,602 were on hand to push the Timber Rattler attendance to 102,999. The previous first half record for the franchise was set in 1998 when 92,563 fans attended games at then four-year old Fox Cities Stadium.
"The Timber Rattlers want to thank all of our fans for making this possible," said Timber Rattlers president Rob Zerjav. "It has been a terrific first half and the crowds have been great. Our staff is already hard at work to make the second half of the season even better."
Wisconsin ended their first half schedule on Saturday night in front of 4,363 fans at Time Warner Cable Field to give the team a first half attendance of 107,362 in 33 openings for an average of 3,253 per game.

First thing
Wow. Who knew that a picture of a double bobblehead would bring so much traffic?
Rattler Radio had it's best day ever yesterday with 312 visitors. I know. In the grand blogosphere that 312 is a number most sites have in 15 minutes. But, thanks to everyone who stopped in to check out Fang and Bernie.
Now, I guess I'll have to keep up the interesting stuff to keep bringing you all back.

Thank You
Last day of the season today.
The plan is to still up date the blog regularly -- if not daily -- during the off season so stop back regularly.
Remember, Opening Day 2009 is April 9 at 6:35pm.
There are a lot of different ways that I could go with this, but:
To everyone stopped out at the ballpark to see a game; asked a player for an autograph; cheered a home run, strikeout, or great defensive play: Thank you.
To all the players who wore a Timber Rattler uniform this year, the coaching staff and the support staff, and the members of the Seattle front office who stopped by: Thank you.
To the front office staff of the Rattlers who put up with me more than you at home could ever guess: Thank you.
To all who listened to a game, read the blog, or sent an e-mail: Thank you.
Have a great off-season, everyone.
