After leading the Class-A Burlington Bees to the Midwest League Championship, Brian Rupp returns for his second season in Iowa and sixth in the Royals system. Jerry Nyman moves from Idaho Falls to Burlington to work on the staff as the pitching coach. Pookie Wilson returns to the Royals organization as the hitting coach for Burlington. Wilson previously worked as a hitting coach in the KC system from 2002-2004.
