The Big 4-0

Mike Wilson ('05) has been placed on the 40 man roster of the Seattle Mariners.
With this move, the Mariners currently have 40 players on the 40-man roster.

Wilson, 25, hit .276 (112x406) with 76 runs scored, 26 doubles, 2 triples, 27 home runs and 84 RBI in 119 games with AA West Tennessee in 2008. His career-high 27 home runs set a new Diamond Jaxx record for most home runs in a season, breaking the old record set by Brandon Sing in the 2005 campaign. Wilson was named to the Southern League All-Star and Post-Season All-Star teams after leading the league in home runs, finishing third in slugging percentage (.549), fourth in RBI and tied for fifth in extra-base hits (55).

Wilson hit 19 homers and drove in 84 runs during the 2005 season with the Rattlers.
