Milwaukee Brewer Report: Games of May 1, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 12-11; 3rd National League Central): The Brewers lost 5-2 to Arizona. Milwaukee scored twice in the bottom of the seventh to take a 2-1 lead. But, the Diamondbacks scored four -- two on a disputed call -- in the top of the eighth for the lead and the eventual win.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 11-10; 4th Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds were rained out on Friday night. They will host the Omaha Royals in a doubleheader today.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 10-11; 2nd Southern League South Division): The Stars were rained out on Friday night. They will host the Tennessee Smokies in a doubleheader today.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 15-6; 1st Florida State League East Division): The Manatees beat the Lakeland Tigers 2-0. Josh Butler allowed three hits over six shutouts innings for the win.
