MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 16-12; 2nd National League Central): The Brewers beat the Reds 15-5. Ryan Braun hit a grand slam and drove in a total of six runs for Milwaukee. Prince Fielder and JJ Hardy also homered for the Brewers. Manny Parra pitched six solid innings for the win.
NASHVILLE (AAA: 14-12; 4th Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds lost 7-4 at Iowa. Joe Koshansky hit a three run homer to provide most of Nashville’s offense.
HUNTSVILLE (AA: 11-12; 2nd Southern League South Division): The Stars were rained out at West Tennessee.
BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 20-6; 1st Florida State League East Division): The Manatees beat Clearwater 5-4. Brevard County rallied from a 4-2 deficit with single runs in the seventh, eighth, and ninth for their ninth consecutive win. Road trip recap here.
