Signed: RHP Rich Dorman (re-signed)

Dilone was a Rattler in 2007 and 2008. Dorman was with the Rattlers in 2003.

Dorman was an interesting story from earlier this season.

Here's a 30-year-old who was within a phone call of reaching the major leagues last year with the Seattle Mariners before some discomfort in his right elbow last July changed everything. Today, he's a newly retired pitcher and rookie instructor who will be the Everett AquaSox pitching coach this summer.

He already loves his new job. But yes, it hurts to walk away from the mound.
