Please, stop.

Just a note for FOX and ESPN.

That shot you have used for the end of just about every half inning during the playoffs. You know, the one where the cameraman gets the pitcher in a closeup and walks backwards to allow the camerashot to follow the pitcher off the mound all the way to the dugout.

Stop it.

I'm not sure why, but it really bugs me. Once or twice a game is great. But, there is just something wrong about it.

Also, using it yesterday on Jorge Posada's two run homer in the top of the ninth felt really awkward, too. I mean, if it tied the game 8-8 at the end of a big Yankee comeback, fine, use it. But, it was 8-3.

Common sense. I don't use it all the time, but I'm not running a network telecast of a baseball game.
