A change in the schedule...

and what is ahead.

Depending on any baseball news that pops up during the day, there will be a few posts during the evening hours instead of running all of them in the morning.

Also, judging by the traffic of the last couple days (84 on Saturday, 90 on Sunday, and 90 already today. It may not seem like much, but those are the three highest consecutive days since this blog started) the How Close? posts have been pretty popular. So, I'll be doing a few posts over week to cover the rest of the MLB teams in the cue.

The Red Sox and Rockies will be left off the list because they are the most current.

I'll go with the teams that have won pennants, but no World Series next and in reverse chronological order. That makes it, with last pennant in parentheses:

Houston (2005)
San Diego (1998)
Milwaukee (1982)

After that, it will go with teams who have won both a pennant and a World Series, in the same order. That makes the order, with the last World Series win and last pennant (if different) in parentheses:

St. Louis (2006)
Chicago {AL} (2005)
Florida (2003)
Anaheim (2002)
Arizona (2001)
New York {AL} (2000, 2003)
Atlanta (1995, 1999)
Toronto (1993)
Minnesota (1991)
Cincinnati (1990)
Oakland (1989, 1990)
Los Angeles (1988)
New York {NL} (1986, 2000)
Kansas City (1985)
Detroit (1984, 2006)
Baltimore (1983)
Philadelphia (1980, 1993)
Pittsburgh (1979)
Cleveland (1954, 1997)
Chicago {NL} (1908, 1945)
