Followed a link

The Wisconsin Sports Bar had this post with a link to a Baseball Analysts post about The Bill James Handbook. The main thing the bartenders at TWSB looked in their post was the ranking of young talent in baseball. And a couple of things caught my eye.

First, an ex-Rattler at number five on the list:
1. Prince Fielder, 1B, MIL, 23
2. Hanley Ramirez, SS, FLA, 23
3. Fausto Carmona, SP, CLE, 23
4. David Wright, 3B, NYM, 24
5. Felix Hernandez, SP, SEA, 21
Second, if you follow the second link to the Baseball Analysts, you will notice that there is also a list of the Top Ten and Bottom Ten for young talent in the Major Leagues.

I am guessing that since the Major League part is in there it does not include minor league talent. So, disregard the ranking of #25 for Seattle when looking at the list and thinking about the young talent in the minor league system.

One other guess is that 'young talent' in this case is 26 and under.
