Milwaukee Brewer Report: Games of May 7, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 16-13; 3rd National League Central): The Brewers lost 6-5 at Cincinnati. Prince Fielder went 3-for-3 with a pair of RBI for Milwaukee, but the Brewers could not dig out of an early hole.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 15-12; 2nd Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds won 4-2 at Iowa. Mat Gamel and Joe Koshansky homered and Mike Burns allowed one earned run over 7-2/3 innings for Nashville. The win pushed Burns to 4-0 on the season.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 13-12; 2nd Southern League South Division): The Stars swept a doubleheader at West Tennessee. In game one, a 6-5 win in 11 innings, Adam Heether homered and drove in four runs. In game two, a 7-1 win, Chuck Caufield drove in three runs. Mark Holliman allowed a run and struck out six over six innings for the win.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 20-7; 1st Florida State League East Division): The Manatees lost 2-1 at Lakeland. Brevard County tied the game in the top of the ninth, but the Flying Tigers scored the winning run in the bottom of the ninth.
