John was always nice when he was coaching first base (he was no Rafael Santo Domingo, but he was nice).
I remember razzing him cuz he was so cold in April, saying just wait, it'll warm up in June.
Then reminding him in June that it was warmer...about 5 degrees.
Hope he finds a balmy landing spot
