Brewers System Report: Games of September 4, 2010

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 62-73; National League Central): The Brewers lost 5-4 at Philadelphia. Milwaukee hit four solo homers, but the Phillies scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to erase a 4-3 Brewers lead.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 76-66; Pacific Coast League American Northern Division): The Sounds lost 2-1 at New Orleans. The Zephyrs broke a 1-1 tie with a run in the bottom of the seventh inning.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 67-71 overall; 34-34 second half; Southern League North Division): The Stars split a doubleheader with Mobile. Huntsville won game one 10-7 when they scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth. Caleb Gindl hit a three-run homer in the decisive inning. Mobile won game two 5-2. The Stars had four hits in the loss.

BREVARD COUNTY (Advanced-A: 63-75; 36-33 second half; Florida State League North Division): The Manatees lost 9-8 in 12 innings at Clearwater. Brevard County tied the game with a run in the top of the ninth and took an 8-7 lead with a run in the top of the twelfth. But, the Threshers scored twice in the bottom of the twelfth to beat the Manatees.

HELENA (Rookie: 39-32 overall; 20-13 second half; Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers lost 5-2 at Missoula. The Osprey scored four runs in the bottom of the second inning. Matthew Miller struck out eight over four innings, but allowed the four runs and took the loss.
