Last week, I got the idea to scan parts of old Foxes programs. Yesterday, I scanned in the cover and a few pages from the 1970 program of the Foxes. Today, here are the results:

The left middle page:
The picture is of Deacon Jones. You could by a White Sox T-Shirt for $1.00 and a Schlitz for $.40. Why is that important? Here's the right middle page:
When you're out of Schlitz, you're out of beer!
And I still haven't figured out why that ad for "the famous Pickle Barrels" is upside-down. It was either to stand out or the person who put the 1970 program together for the Foxes was nowhere near as good as the person who puts PLAYBALL! together for the Timber Rattlers.
