The Phillies are in the World Series for the first time since 1993. Here are four members of the Phillies I'll be pulling for in the Fall Classic.
Infielder/Pinch hitter Greg Dobbs. Dobbs was a member of the 2002 Timber Rattlers.
Catcher Chris Coste. Coste played for the Fargo-Moorhead Red Hawks when I was a radio announcer for the Duluth-Superior Dukes in the old Northern League.
General Manager Pat Gillick. Gillick played for the Fox Cities Foxes in 1960 and is a member of the Appleton Baseball Hall of Fame.
Radio Announcer Scott Franzke. Scott was the radio announcer for the Kane County Cougars in my first two years with the Timber Rattlers.
