In the Midwest League club’s “You Pick the Improvement” contest, fans selected adding seat backs to bleacher seats at Modern Woodmen Park as their preferred improvement for the 2009 season.
“We really didn’t know what to expect in the final vote, but in the end, the fans told us they want to be comfortable,” River Bandits general manager Kirk Goodman said. “As cool as a waterfall or a retractable roof would have been, it came down to something that will add to the basic fan enjoyment at games, and that’s great.
A place to follow the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, the Midwest League, Minor League baseball, Major League Baseball, and everything in between in that order.
