Signed: LHP Eddy Hernandez, 2B Ron Garth, 3B Leury BonillaAll were minor league free agents and the M's re-signed them. Of these three, I would guess the Hernandez ('06, '08) -- since he is will be in his first full year as a pitcher -- will be in Clinton at some point in 2009. The others, I don't think that Garth ('06, '07, '08) would be back for a fourth year in the Midwest League. Bonilla ('07) spent all of last year at High Desert.

So, that IS the same Eddy Hernandez that loped around the outfield driving me nutts with his perceived lack of effort (and i don't mean the good way, like Eddie George in his prime looking like he wasn't moving very fast but he was covering ground with those long strides...) for a season at FCS and then not quite a half season at TWCF@FCS?
