Guess the name of the blog won't be changing...

Rattlers Announce New Radio Flagship
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers have penned a 3-year agreement and are proud to announce AM1280 WNAM is the new flagship radio station for Timber Rattlers baseball. Beginning on Thursday, April 9th, all 140 Rattlers games will be broadcast live on the station that plays America 's best music.

"We are extremely pleased with this new partnership," said Rattlers president Rob Zerjav. "WNAM is a part of a great radio group and we appreciate their passion and excitement to carry Timber Rattlers baseball. Partnering with WNAM will allow our entire local fan base the opportunity to listen to all 140 games from anywhere in Northeastern Wisconsin due to their remarkable signal strength," Zerjav added.
There is no word in the release on who will be announcing Timber Rattler games on WNAM. I hope he's better than the guy they have now.

This will make the fourth radio station in ten seasons for the Rattlers. In order prior to WNAM:

WJOK-AM
WECB-FM
WJMQ-FM

Thank you to the Bruce, Doug, Kay, and all the folks up at WJMQ and the Results Broadcasting. It has been great to work with you for the last few seasons.

Here is a little something that you might hear on WNAM before a Timber Rattler game next year.

I saw that yesterday on the home page and the first thought i had was, "How does the guy who not only calls the games, but has a blog called "Rattler Radio" not get an interview?"

Was it your day to bring x-mas cookies/treats for the office and you forgot? Is someone mad at you?

That's crazy, i felt like i'd just taken some crazy pills...

I forgot to mention this in the post. This was the news I was talking about earlier on the blog.

Just so I don't leave my five readers wondering where the heck that news item was.
