Thursday in the MWL

@Peoria 6, Wisconsin 5 -- Rattler comeback falls short. Chiefs pull out a squeeze play in the eighth for a little insurance.

Beloit 1, @Southwest Michigan 0 -- Wade Davis threw a no-hitter and lost in game one.
@Southwest Michigan 5, Beloit 2 -- In their last at bat ever at C.O. Brown, the D-Rays scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth to rally for a 5-2 win. To give D-Ray pitching coach R.C. Lichtenstein the final word (for now): It's like the twilight zone here

Dayton 10, @South Bend 4 -- Dayton scored eight runs in the top of the ninth inning. That's more runs than they scored in every other inning of the five game series combined.

@West Michigan 4, Lansing 3 -- Three in the bottom of the ninth gives the Caps a win in their final regular season home game.

Kane County 8, @Quad Cities 4 -- Cougars win a preview of a first round matchup?

Fort Wayne 6, @Clinton 5 -- The Wizards are finally officially in the playoffs, on an RBI single by Jose Lobaton.

@Cedar Rapids 7, @Burlington 6 (12 inn) -- Let's see. The Bees scored two in the top of the ninth to tie the game 5-5. They score one in the to go up 6-5. But, the Kernels scored once in the eleventh to tie and once on a Larry Infante single in the twelfth for the win.
