The Cougars were up 3-1 after a three run seventh. The Whitecaps tied the game a run in the eighth and a run in the ninth. Steve Kleen played the hero with a bases loaded single in the bottom of the eleventh to end a pretty good Game One.
Cap manager Matt Wallbeck cuts to the quick: "It was a great game," Whitecaps manager Matt Walbeck said. "It's unfortunate that we didn't score more runs than they did, but there's a lot of baseball left.
