Seattle (MAJ: 71-78; 4th AL West): The Mariners beat the Royals 10-5. Chris Snelling (WI '00) was 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBI for the M's. Gil Meche (WI '98) gave up five runs over six innings for his eleventh win of the season.
Inland Empire (California League Championship Series): The 66ers beat Visalia 8-2. The best-of-five Cal League Championship Series is tied at two games each. The Sixers scored six times with two outs in the bottom of the fifth inning to take control of Game Four. Johan Limonta (WI '06), Casey Craig (WI '06), and Omar Falcon (WI '05) all homered in the game for Inland Empire. Justin Jordan (WI '05) allowed one run on five hits over six innings for the win.
