Seattle (MAJ: 70-78; 4th AL West): The Mariners lost 7-4 at Kansas City. Joel Pineiro (WI '98) gave up seven runs over four innings for the loss. Ryan Feierabend (WI '04) pitched four scoreless innings and allowed one hit in relief. Ichiro had three hits to put him over 200 hits for the sixth season in a row.
Inland Empire (California League Championship Series): The 66ers lost 1-0 to Visalia in Game Three of the Cal League Championship Series. The Oaks lead the best-of-five series two games to one. Cibney Bello (WI '05) allowed one run on seven hits over seven innings for the loss. The Sixer offense managed four hits in the loss.
