J.N. Revealed!

An the new pitching coach of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers is:
The Seattle Mariners have announced that former Milwaukee Brewer Jaime Navarro has been named the Timber Rattlers pitching coach for 2008.
Navarro's page at The Baseball Cube shows no time in the Midwest League after signing with the Brewers as a third round pick out of Miami-Dade College in 1987.

His minor league stops on the way to the majors with Milwaukee were:
  • Helena - Pioneer League 1987
  • Stockton - California League 1988
  • El Paso - Texas League and Denver - American Association 1989
Navarro's first major league appearance was June 20, 1989 at Milwaukee County Stadium against the Kansas City Royals. In that game, Navarro gave up two runs on eight hits over 6-2/3 innings. But, he received a no decision in the game.

The staff is in place. Now, we wait on the announcement of the roster in late March.
