Complete scoreboard
Cedar Rapids 4 @Wisconsin 2: Kernels version | Rattlers version
@Burlington 3, Clinton 1: The celebration looked like any other after a victory -- the Bees lined up on the field and shook hands, a businesslike celebration after the team clinched a playoff berth. Leave no doubt about it, though, the Bees were thrilled... (Editor's Note: Not as thrilled as the Looooooooons....that's for sure)
@Dayton 5, South Bend 3: “I don’t want to be a guy who overmanages,” said Benzinger, whose Dragons not only beat South Bend 5-3, but leapfrogged the Silver Hawks by a half game for the final playoff spot in the East Division, with tonight’s final regular-season home game probably the decider.
Great Lakes 8 @Fort Wayne 4: Now that the TinCaps have clinched first place in the Midwest League’s Eastern Division all over again – a repeat of their first half domination – don’t bring up a lack of intensity to manager Doug Dascenzo.
West Michigan 5 @Lansing 3: Whitecaps version | Lugnuts version
Kane County 8 @Peoria 4: The Peoria Chiefs’ 8-3 Midwest League loss Thursday night to Kane County means little at the moment. But its importance might be found out over the next week to 11 days. (Editor's note: "week to 11 days"? That's an odd time frame.)
@Quad Cities 8, Beloit 3: After splitting four unearned runs evenly through two innings, Quad-Cities pulled ahead 6-3 with a three-run third. A two-run single by Rich Racobaldo followed by a run-scoring single by Frederick Parejo sent the River Bandits on their way to their fourth straight win. (Editor's Note: "After splitting four unearned evenly" is a polite way of saying the score was 2-2...because the defnese was terrible for both teams.)
