Milwaukee Brewers Report: Games of September 3, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 65-68; 3rd National League Central): The Brewers beat St. Louis 4-3. Manny Parra allowed two runs over 6-1/3 innings for his tenth win. Casey McGehee homered and drove in three runs for Milwaukee.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 73-67; 2nd Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds beat Memphis 7-6. Nashville scored six runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to come back from a 6-1 deficit. Adam Heether homered twice, including a two-run homer in the seventh. The Sounds trail the Redbirds by one-half game in the division race.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 63-71 overall, 25-40 second half; 4th Southern League North Division): The Stars lost 1-0 to Jacksonville. The Suns scored the only run of the game in the top of the second inning.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 78-47 overall, 38-23 second half; 2nd Florida State League North Division): The Manatees beat Clearwater 6-4 in 11 innings.

HELENA (SHORT SEASON ROOKIE: 28-38; 8-20 second half; 3rd Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers lost 11-3 to Missoula. The Osprey scored seven times in the top of the first inning.
