For today's Flashback (LINK ADDED)

This is the full size image of the ad from the 1960 Season Preview edition of the Post-Crescent. In today's Flashback -- which will be posted later this morning -- I say to click on a link to see the full-size image. But, I didn't have a link to put in the column. So, I needed to post this image here before the article gets posted. Get it? Got it? Good.

And yes, I will put a link to the Flashback on this post when it gets posted. This is almost like a time travel paradox. Almost.



The complete text of the ad, including the blacked-out portion (which is due to microfilm technology not yet being up to 21st century standards) reads:

LET'S ALL GET IN THE LINE-UP FOR A FULL SEASON OF TOP-FLIGHT BASEBALL.

1ST HOME GAME TOMORROW * 8PM * GOODLAND FIELD

Also, please note the baseball face with the IT'S FUN TO BE A FAN slogan underneath it. Scary? No?
