The Atlanta Braves have named Jim Misudek as the Club's new Media Relations Coordinator.
Misudek (pronounced mish-yoo-deck) will assist in all facets of the Braves' media relations efforts. His primary responsibilities will include contributing to the production of the Club's annual media guide and daily press notes, arranging player interviews, coordinating press conferences and press box operations, while also serving as a primary media contact for the Club in spring training and on team road trips during the season

Misudek, 26, began his baseball career as an intern with the Class-A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and spent two seasons (2007-08) with the Milwaukee Brewers. In 2007, he was an intern in the Brewers media relations department and he spent 2008 as a sales representative while assisting with media relations duties. He also assisted Major League Baseball and the Brewers media relations department with their 2008 postseason appearance.
A native of Fond du Lac, Wis., Misudek graduated in 2002 from Fond du Lac High School. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Fond du Lac in 2004 with an Associate of Arts and Science degree and in 2007 he received a Bachelor's of Science degree in sport management from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse.
