Snappers salute Scarpetta

Hononegah High School senior Ryan Scarpetta is the Beloit Snappers 2009 Player of the Year.This is Cody Scarpetta's cousin.
Scarpetta will be presented with the award at the Snappers’ annual Hot Stove Banquet on Feb. 1, which will be held at the Country Club of Beloit.
Scarpetta has played varsity baseball since his freshman year at Hononegah and last fall signed an NCAA letter-of-intent to play baseball at Valparaiso University.
