I don't know which of the candidates for the 15th Anniversary centerfielder should receive my vote. All four candidates are more than worthy.
They are:
Jamal Strong ('01)
Shin-soo Choo ('02)
Gary Harris ('03)
Wladimir Balentien ('04)
Strong put up great numbers in a short amount of time.
Choo was a personal favorite and had the most potential.
Harris probably played the best defense of the four.
Balentien had the most homers.
Also, congratulations to Juan Silvestre ('99). He won the left field vote by a wide margin. The 15th Anniversary team looks like this:
Catcher - John Castellano - 2001 - 48%
First Base - David Arias - 1996 - 80%
Second Base - Pedro Liriano - 2001 - 41%
Third Base - Bo Robinson - 1999 - 71%
Shortstop - Adam Jones - 2004 - 44%
Left Field - Juan Silvestre - 1999 - 65%
The % is the percentage of the vote received by the winner.
