Rain outs suck, no doubt. But when I left the office at 11:30 the radar looked to be clear after maybe an hour or so, and that's what it turned out. As I type it hasn't rained since.

Was the front office looking at a different radar or were the field conditions that bad from all the rain this weekend? Just curious.

On another note, what's the ETA on Gavin Dickey and what's hurt?

And on a much lighter note, is there a reason that the Saturn and Bratzuka motor around the track so fast and what exactly has been wrong with it this year? If it gets half of the brats in the stands it's a good night. Inquiring minds want to know...

THANKS.

The RADAR we were looking at showed showers heading at us from the North. Also, the field couldn't take much more. Believe me, we wanted to play the game. There was a good crowd and if we could have gotten it in, we would have. Not sure if you are keeping track, but that was our sixth date lost to weather this season. We don't plan on that many.

Dickey was hit by a pitch on his hand a couple of weeks ago. It will still be a few weeks until he is ready to play for the Rattlers.

We only have 90 seconds between innings, kid. The Saturn has to make it around quickly.

There was a leak in one of the BRATZOOKA hoses at the start of the year. We replaced that hose, but there appears to be another leak somewhere else that plays with the pressure needed to properly shoot a brat. We are trying to nurse it through the first half and are looking at a complete overhaul by the start of the second half.

I was disappointed in the rain out, but some of those school kids were looking for heads...

I know, I've been part of a snow out, cold out and two rain outs. It's got to turn around here. We'll try again Thursday night.

Hopefully Dickey is back sooner than later. I think his range in the outfield is missed.

Overhaul of the ole Bratzuka, who'd have thunk it?

Thanks.
