Before getting started with the game stuff...Who had the bright idea of starting the press buffet at the same time as the game?Seriously. It's either miss the first pitch or not getting any food.
Manship had a runner on third with two outs and fooled Juan Francisco with an off-speed pitch. Francisco dribbled one out in past the mound towards short and barely beat the throw to first to give the East a 1-0 lead.
Manship bounced back with a strikeout of Travis Snider to end the inning. The Snapper ace struck out a pair in the inning.
Watson on the hill for the East.
7:30pm....
Watson retired the first two batters, but walked John Whittleman and gave up a single to Brandon Buckman. The West did not cash in as Watson struck out Chad Tracy.
