Holman pays tribute to fans
Curve fans got a chance to hear just how important they are to the players and coaches during an inspiring few minutes following Sunday night's game.
Pitching coach Brad Holman, who writes and sings country songs in his spare time, took the field behind home plate with guitar in hand and sang a song he wrote called ''The Loyal Fans.''
''I wrote it for the fans as a thank you from the players,'' said Holman, who penned the tune in 2002.
The song was a huge hit at Blair County Ballpark, drawing a standing ovation from many of the 7,000 fans on hand.
