Clinton downed Wisconsin, 9-7. Brock Kjeldgaard hit a home run and knocked in three in a losing effort for the Timber Rattlers. Brett Lawrie (back in action) and Mike Marseco each had two hits. Exciting LHP Efrain Nieves started and allowed three runs in three innings, but he also struck out seven while walking none.Clinton is now the MWL affiliate of the Mariners. How any ex-Rattlers did for Clinton is a question for someone else. Sorry.
