NASHVILLE (AAA: 10-7; 3rd Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds beat Iowa 6-3. Mat Gamel had a homer and two RBI and Brendan Katin had three RBI for Nashville.
HUNTSVILLE (AA: 9-7; 1st Southern League South Division): The Stars won 5-4 at Chattanooga. Jeremy Jeffress allowed one run on three hits and struck out eight over five innings for the win. Jonathon Lucroy knocked in a pair of runs for Huntsville.
BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 10-5; 1st Florida State League East Division): The Manatees beat Dunedin 3-0. Amaury Rivas and three other pitchers combined on a seven hit shutout. Rivas allowed three hits and struck out five over five innings for the win.
