Morning over the Ballpark

An early morning tarp pull equals a nice view of a crescent moon with Venus at dawn.

That is Venus to the left of the Moon in the top picture. The blur is from the movement of the camera at the time of the picture.

Times like these, I wish I had a better photographer on the blog staff.

Nice work finding a silver lining in having to pull the tarp at dawn. :)

That's me. Mr. Silver Lining!

8 to 4? Really? I am intrigued by your thesis, Heidi. Do you have a newsletter to which I might subscribe?

Yep, that's Chris. I can almost hear him now,

"Mr. Bluebird on my shoulder...it's the truth, it's actual, everything is satisfactual..."

Actually, Chris, I think newsletters are too corporate. And since I am all about making everyone living in harmony, I'm sticking it to the man. And instead of newsletters, I write fairytales. I think a relevant one begins like this....

Once upon a time, a young, opinionated Missourian accepted a job in the great frozen tundra, also known to some as Wisconsin. Little did she know, Wisconsin only has 2 months of summer (or baseball weather).

You get the idea. :)
Hope things are going well! Stay warm, and dry!
