Brewers System Report: Games of August 21, 2010

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 59-64; National League Central): The Brewers beat the Padres 6-5. Ryan Braun homered and John Axford got the final five outs for the save.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 66-61; Pacific Coast League American Northern Division): The Sounds lost 4-3 at Iowa. The Cubs broke a 3-3 tie with a run in the bottom of the eighth.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 62-63 overall; 29-26 second half; Southern League North Division): The Stars beat Birmingham 2-1. Huntsville scored a run in the top of the eighth to snap a 1-1 tie.

BREVARD COUNTY (Advanced-A: 59-66; 32-24 second half; Florida State League North Division): The Manatees beat Daytona 15-2. Angel Salome hit a grand slam and drove in five runs for Brevard County.

HELENA (Rookie: 29-28 overall; 10-9 second half; Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers lost 16-2 to Idaho Falls.

AZL BREWERS (Rookie: 31-18; Arizona League Central Division): The Brewers were swept by the Dodgers in a doubleheader. The Dodgers won game one 2-0 and game two 6-3.
