Brewers System Report: Games of August 19, 2010

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 57-64; National League Central): The Brewers were off on Thursday.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 65-60; Pacific Coast League American Northern Division): The Sounds split a doubleheader with Colorado Springs. The Sky Sox won game one 6-1. Nashville won game two 8-7 one a game winning homer by Luis Cruz in the bottom of the seventh.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 61-62 overall; 28-25 second half; Southern League North Division): The Stars lost 4-3 at Birmingham. Taylor Green (’09) homered and drove in two runs for Huntsville.

BREVARD COUNTY (Advanced-A: 58-65; 31-23 second half; Florida State League North Division): The Manatees beat Lakeland 5-2. Kyle Heckathorn (’10) pitched six innings and picked up his third win of the season for Brevard County.

HELENA (Rookie: 28-27 overall; 9-8 second half; Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers beat Casper 12-2. The offense collected 14 hits and Tyler Cravy struck out nine over 5-2/3 innings for the win.

AZL BREWERS (Rookie: 30-16; Arizona League Central Division): The Brewers beat the Angels 6-5.
