Buster Narum pitched a complete game for the win. He allowed nine hits and walked one, but he struck out nine.
Charles Johnson hit a three-run homer for most of the Foxes offense.
Fox Cities is 78-47 and closing in on a Three-I League Championship.

Ken Reed with a complete game for his twelfth win of the season. Troy Thomas drove in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth. Oh, and the Foxes clinched the Northern Division title!!
Madison scored a pair of runs in the top of the first. Wes Kent hit a two-run homer in the fourth to tie the game.
The Foxes are 83-49 and clinched the pennant on their final home game of 1985.
It was noted in the Post-Crescent story that the crowd of 520 gave the Foxes an attendance of 72,860. That was good for the fourth best attendance in club history.
