Adam Jones (WI '04) Promoted to the Mariners.
I heard this in the lobby late last night and found this entry on ussmariner through Lookout Landing.
Also, if you clicked on the Missions story below, you would have seen that Oswaldo Navarro (WI '05) has been moved up to Tacoma.
I'll have more later, but I promised some people that I would get a few workouts in on this trip and the bus is leaving in about five minutes.

Infielder Greg Dobbs and outfielder Adam Jones have been called up to play for the Mariners, starting with Friday's game at Toronto.
To make room on the 25-man roster, the team optioned outfielder
Shin-Soo Choo to Tacoma and outrighted catcher Luis Oliveros to Class A Inland Empire.

Basically, they’re not ready to kick Everett to the curb quite yet, so Dobbs gets the Petagine role of sitting on the bench and never playing, instead of Choo or Snelling. When seen through that perspective, it’s hard to argue with.
