Meet the new Magallanes...

Not the same as the old Magallanes:

Kernels announce 2007 coaching staff

A familiar name will skipper the Kernels for the fourth season in a row as Ever Magallanes, the older brother of 2006 skipper Bobby Magallanes, was named today by Tony Reagans, the Director of Player Development for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

Ever Magallanes led the Tempe Angels to the 2006 Arizona League Championship game, where they lost to the Padres. The Angels finished the 2006 season 34-21. Ever spent 19 seasons playing professionally as a left-hand hitting shortstop and played for five professional organizations: Indians (1987-92), White Sox (1992), Rangers (1993-94) Diamondbacks (2004) and independent Mexican League (1995-2005).
