NLCS: Colorado 6, Arizona 4. Brian Fuentes (WI '97) gave up a three-run homer to Chris Snyder in the top of the eighth inning. But, a six-run fourth inning was enough for the Rockies to hang on for the win and the series sweep for their first World Series appearance.
Arizona Fall League: The Peoria Javelinas lost 9-3 to Mesa. Jeff Clement (WI '05) was 1-for-4 with an RBI for the Javelinas.
Hawaii Winter Baseball: The Waikiki BeachBoys lost 8-2 to West Oahu. Mike Wilson (WI '05) went 1-for-3 for the BeachBoys in a game that went only eight innings, by a pre-arranged agreement by the coaches.
The Venezuelan Winter League has started. Just look at all the Ex-Rattlers on the roster of the Cardenales de Lara. The stats so far are HERE. No games yesterday though.
