Arizona Fall League: Peoria Javelinas 5, Peoria Saguaros 4. The Javs scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth to tie the game and a run in the bottom of the seventh to take a 5-4 lead. Yung Chi Chen ('05) was 3-for-3 with a walk and a run scored for the Javelinas. Matt Tuiasosopo ('05) was 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI, and a run scored.
Hawaii Winter Baseball: North Shore 5, Waikiki BeachBoys 4. The Honu scored four in the first inning. Waikiki rallied to tie the game with one in the fifth, two in the seventh, and one in the eighth. But, North Shore scored a run in the bottom of the eighth and held on for the win with a scoreless ninth. Josh Womack ('04, '05) was 2-for-5 with an RBI for the BeachBoys. Mike Wilson ('05) was 1-for-4 with a pair of RBI. Harold Williams ('06, '07) worked 2-1/3 scoreless innings allowing two hits, one walk, and striking out five.
Liga Venezuela Beisbol Profesional: Nothing yet on Lara's game at Aragua from Saturday. There is a box score on the 10/19 game between Lara and Magallanes. Lara won 4-3. Cesar Jimenez ('03) blew the save but got the win.
