Jay over at Mariner Minors has some new about ex-Rattlers representing their countries at the IBAF Olympic Qualifier in Taiwan. And he had it a couple of days ago.
Kuo Hui Lo ('07) is playing for Taiwan.
Michael Saunders ('06) and Jon Lockwood ('05) are playing for Canada.
By the way, the new IBAF website is a serious upgrade from the old one.
I think these stats are through Day Five.
Lo is 9-for-22 with 2 homers and 8 RBI.
Saunders is 6-for-24 with 6RBI
Lockwood has allowed six earned runs in 7-1/3 innings over two appearances.
Canada, Taiwan, and South Korea have all advanced to the Olympics in August with one day left in the qualifier.
