Milwaukee Brewers Report: Games of September 5, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 65-70; T-3rd National League Central): The Brewers lost 3-2 to San Francisco. Yovani Gallardo allowed three runs over six innings and the Brewers scored just two off Matt Cain.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 73-69; 2nd Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds lost 6-5 at New Orleans. The Zephyrs scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to break a 3-3 tie.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 63-73 overall, 25-42 second half; 5th Southern League North Division): The Stars lost 2-0 to Jacksonville. The Stars managed six hits in the game.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 78-47 overall, 38-23 second half; 2nd Florida State League North Division): The Manatees had their doubleheader with Tampa rained out.

HELENA (SHORT SEASON ROOKIE: 29-40; 9-22 second half; 4th Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers beat Billings 3-0.
