Milwaukee Brewers Report: Games of September 7, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 66-71; 4th National League Central): The Brewers lost 3-0 to St. Louis. Chris Carpenter pitched a one-hitter for the Cardinals.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 75-69; 2nd Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds beat New Orleans 8-3. Joe Koshansky homered and drove in three runs for Nashville. Brendan Katin also homered for the Sounds in the season finale.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 63-75 overall, 25-44 second half; 5th Southern League North Division):
The Stars lost 9-5 to Jacksonville. The Suns broke a 5-5 tie with four runs in the top of the eighth inning in the season finale.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 79-48 overall, 39-24 second half; 2nd Florida State League North Division): The Manatees wrapped their regular season on Sunday. They open their playoff series with Tampa tonight.

HELENA (SHORT SEASON ROOKIE: 30-41; 10-23 second half; 3rd Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers lost to Great Falls 3-1 in 11 innings.
