Milwaukee Brewers Report: Games of September 9, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 66-73; 4th National League Central): The Brewers lost 5-1 to St. Louis. Chris Carpenter won his 18th game of the season for St. Louis.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: Southern League): The Stars were off on Wednesday and begin their playoff series with Tennessee tonight.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: Florida State League): The Manatees lost game two of their playoff series with Tampa and were swept out of the first round. The Yankees won 5-2 by scoring three times in the top of the ninth inning to snap a 2-2 tie.

HELENA (SHORT SEASON ROOKIE: 31-43; 11-25 second half; T-3rd Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers lost 6-5 at Great Falls. The Voyagers scored three times in the bottom of the ninth inning for the win.
