ATTENDANCE: 4,741

Why so many on a Monday night at Goodland Field? It was "Miller Beer Night" with an appearance by Bobby Allison and the Miller American #22 Race Car. Plus, there was an alumni night with over 20 former Appleton Papermakers and Foxes on hand for the event. There is a story from the Post-Crescent that will be used for a 'Flashback Friday' later in the season. As a teaser, the oldest attendee was 90-year old Carl Schultz who played for the Papermakers in 1920.

To the game: Edwin Correa struck out 13 in a complete game. He allowed one hit, a first inning homer, over the first eight frames.

Jim Winters hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the first to cap a 5-run innings and it was off to the races for the Foxes.

They are 72-39 on the season and still way in front of Kenosha in the Northern Division of the Midwest League.
