Ex-Rattlers on the move

Baseball America has updated minor league transactions today.

The Mariner moves are as follows:

Seattle Mariners
Signed RHP Justin Lehr
Signed LHP Jaime Cerda
Signed C Jamie Burke
Signed SS Gookie Dawkins
Signed OF Tony Torcato

None of these players are headed for the Rattlers. All of them played at Triple-A in 2006. Lehr (Nashville), Cerda (Colorado SPrings), Burke (Oklahoma), Dawkins (Indianapolis), Torcado (Charlotte).

Released C Matt Hagen
Released OF Dustin Delucchi

San Francisco Giants

The last transaction update at BA.com was November 22; so some of these probably aren't that recent. There was a transaction of Omar Falcon (WI '05) signing with the Pirates, but the Cardinals took him in the minor league portion of the Rule Five draft.

It is interesting to see where some of these ex-Rattlers are headed.
