Okay here is the update on the Beloit Stadium

The first paragraph of the story makes everything moot:

Mulder Dairy Farms will make changes to its land swap proposal in light of an appraisal released Monday that values the county land at $10.6 million more than the Mulder land, a Mulder spokesman said.

Brian Christianson, a consultant hired by Mulder to deal with the swap, was working with county officials this morning on an "addendum" to Mulder's most recent proposal dated Nov. 22, he said. A new version of the proposal will be ready by the end today or first thing Wednesday, he said.

"What we hope to achieve in working with the county administration is to demonstrate another level of sincerity to bring a new fairgrounds to Rock County, and I think we do that by adopting many of the concerns that the staff and supervisors have expressed over the last several weeks," Christianson said.

The appraisal, released Monday by the Milwaukee firm Moegenburg Research, valued the county farm at $14.4 million, while it put the Mulder property at $3.8 million.

I have a feeling this thing is going to go down to the wire. It sure is interesting from here. Probably not so much fin down in Beloit though.
