Keith Mitchell is back as the manager of the SWING of the Quad Cities

Swing manager Mitchell happy to return

After a record-setting rookie year as a manager, Keith Mitchell welcomes a return to the Swing of the Quad-Cities next season.

“I was willing to go wherever they wanted me to go, but to be able to come back to Quad-Cities and manage again, I’m excited about that,” Mitchell said. “I see this as a real good situation for me. I really like the Quad-Cities.”

The Swing’s parent club, the St. Louis Cardinals, announced Mitchell’s return to the Midwest League on Thursday.

No word on the impending sale of the SWING.
